Job Description

Location Details Remote — United States (Fully remote; must be able to work during U.S. business hours; occasional travel to regional offices or events may be required) About Us Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH) is a leading single-family home leasing and management company that owns and operates more than 110,000 rental homes across major U.S. markets. We focus on delivering high-quality, pet-friendly homes equipped with modern conveniences like Smart Home technology, proactive maintenance through our ProCare® program, and digital self-service tools that make renting simple and reliable. Our vision is to "unlock the power of home"—helping residents live freer by offering a seamless, professionally managed rental experience while investing in build-to-rent communities and solutions that address the national housing shortage. Role Introduction As a Virtual Assistant at Invitation Homes, you’ll be a dependable partner to our Media & Content Creation and resident experience teams — ensuring smooth communication, timely content delivery, and excellent customer service across digital channels. You’ll manage day-to-day administrative tasks, help produce and publish engaging property content, and act as a friendly, knowledgeable first touch for residents and prospects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys working remotely to support a mission-driven company at scale. What You'll Do Manage and triage inboxes and resident-facing communications: respond to general inquiries, elevate issues, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and empathy. Coordinate content projects and the content calendar: schedule shoots, collect assets and approvals, prepare briefs, and track progress to deadlines. Draft, edit, and publish copy for online listings, email templates, and social posts; maintain accuracy and brand voice across digital channels and CMS. Schedule and publish social media posts and property updates using scheduling tools; assist with basic content formatting and asset preparation. Maintain resident and contact databases with accurate data entry, prepare routine reports, and surface trends or issues to the team. Provide general administrative support: calendar management, meeting coordination and notes, vendor coordination, and light travel logistics for on-site shoots or events. Perform basic graphic touch-ups and asset resizing (e.g., Canva) and ensure all content meets quality and accessibility standards before publication. What You Bring 2+ years of experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, or customer-service role supporting content, marketing, or operations teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, customer-first mindset and professional phone/email etiquette. High computer literacy: confident with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, comfortable using CMS, CRMs, and web-based tools; accurate and efficient typing. Organizational excellence: proven ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage calendars, and keep projects on track with strong attention to detail. Practical experience with social scheduling or publishing tools and a basic understanding of content workflows and asset management. Reliable remote setup (stable high-speed internet, quiet workspace) and a collaborative attitude for cross-functional teamwork. Nice to Have Experience in real estate, property management, or resident services (familiarity with property management portals a plus). Hands-on experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other lightweight design tools for quick asset edits. Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) to better serve diverse resident communities. Experience with helpdesk/CRM platforms such as Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar tools. If you’re organized, proactive, and excited to support a fast-moving, mission-driven team that improves the rental experience for thousands of people, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Genie, Inc
